What gets fixed this way
- Software that will not open, update or licence properly
- Mail that has stopped sending, receiving or syncing
- Machines that have slowed to the point of being unusable
- Virus and malware removal, and the clean-up afterwards
- Printers, scanners and the drivers behind them
- File and folder access that has gone wrong after a change
- New user setup, and locking out a user who has left
When remote is the wrong answer
We will tell you when a job needs someone there. A machine that will not power on, a switch that has died, cabling, camera installs and anything physical needs a technician onsite, and pretending otherwise wastes your morning. In that case we book the visit rather than talking you through it over the phone.
Anywhere in Australia
Remote work is not limited by distance, so a business in Perth gets the same service as one down the road from us. Onsite attendance is realistically concentrated around Melbourne's south-east, where we are based.
Questions we get asked
- Do you need access to our machines all the time?
- No. Access is per session and you approve it. For ongoing managed clients we can leave a support agent installed so a session starts faster, and that is your choice rather than a requirement.
- Can you help a home user, or is this business only?
- Both. A single laptop is a real job here. Digital Gearnet started doing home and small-office work and never stopped.
- What if you cannot fix it remotely?
- Then we say so and arrange the next step, whether that is a site visit or a repair. You are not charged for a remote session that establishes the machine needs hands on it.
