CCTV and alarm systems

Most camera systems disappoint their owners on the one night they are needed, because the footage is too dark, too low-resolution, or was overwritten last Tuesday.

What we install

  • IP and CCTV cameras with HD recording
  • Infrared night vision, which is when most of it happens
  • Motion detection with push notifications to your phone
  • Remote viewing, so you can look at the shop from anywhere
  • Recording that keeps enough history to be useful
  • Alarm systems, and cameras working alongside an existing alarm

Placement decides everything

A camera pointed at a whole car park identifies nobody. Cameras positioned at the points people must pass through, at head height, produce footage that is worth having. This is the part that separates a system that works from a set of cameras on a wall, and it is decided on a site walk rather than from a catalogue.

Licensed, and part of the network

Installation is done by a licensed technician. Cameras also sit on your network and record to a device that has to be looked after, which is a reason to have the people who run your network install them rather than a separate trade.

Questions we get asked

Can you add to a system already installed?
Often yes, depending on what is there. Send us a photo of the recorder and we can usually tell you.
Will I be able to watch it on my phone?
Yes, that is standard, and we set it up and show you how before we leave.
How long is footage kept?
It depends on the number of cameras and the storage fitted. We will size it for how far back you actually want to be able to look.
